B-Level Golf Croquet Open Championship

Dear Croquet Friends,

The Italian Croquet Federation is pleased to announce the forthcoming “Coppa del Serchio”, a B-Level (i.e. just for players with a handicap of 4 or more) Golf Croquet Open Championship to be held in Lucca (Tuscany) on the next 18-19 September, 2010. 

The tournament will consist of at least 6 rounds of 13 points single games, scheduled according to a Flexible Swiss format, followed by a play-off among the top four players; double banking (without time limits) will be used throughout the Championship. 

The entry fees are:
· Championship - € 70.00, including gala dinner, and transportation
· Players’ Companions - € 50.00, including gala dinner, and transportation
Entry fees may be paid at the Club during the event.

Entries will close on 31st August, 2010; allocation of places will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Entries may be accepted after 31st August if places are available.

Lucca's medieval and Renaissance features are enclosed in its thick sixteenth century walls, a characteristic of this beautiful Tuscan town on the left of the Serchio river. Like the whole Tuscany, Lucca hosts marvelous churches ready to be discovered.
